2. Purposes and Legal Bases
We process personal data only where necessary:
- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of pre‑contractual/contractual obligations
- Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with legal obligations
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interests (in particular IT security; reach/usage analysis based on server logs)
- Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(1) TDDDG – for services/technologies requiring consent (e.g., Google Maps)
3. Hosting and Server Log Files
Our website runs on a root server at Hetzner Online GmbH that only we can access.
When you visit the site, we automatically process the following data (server log files):
- page/file accessed, date/time, data volume transferred
- browser type/version, operating system, referrer URL
- IP address (stored in truncated form)
Purpose: ensuring operational security and stability, misuse detection and internal statistics (see

4. Internal Usage Analytics (no cookies)
We generate usage statistics solely from server log data (anonymised or pseudonymised).

Storage: deletion after completion unless statutory retention obligations apply.
6. Applications
We process applicant data pursuant to Section 26 BDSG exclusively to conduct the application procedure.
- In case of rejection, data are deleted no later than 6 months after the procedure has ended (retention for legal defence under German anti‑discrimination law).
- Longer storage (talent pool) only with your consent (revocable at any time).
7. Cookies
Our website uses only technically necessary cookies (e.g., session ID, language settings) required to provide the site.

- No tracking or marketing cookies are used.

We use Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).
- Maps are only loaded after your consent. This may transmit your IP address and browser information to Google.
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(1) TDDDG.
- International transfers: Data may be transferred to the USA. Google is certified under the EU‑US Data Privacy Framework (DPF) ; alternatively, Standard Contractual Clauses apply.

9. Storage Period
We store personal data only as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by law. Afterwards, data are deleted or anonymised.
